Job Summary

This role involves leading the "Federal Information Systems" department at the State Office for GeoInformation Bremen, focusing on foundational work for federal property documentation. The successful candidate will manage a team of 5, overseeing interdisciplinary project work with engineers and IT specialists. Key responsibilities include developing and supporting the LISA (Liegenschaftsinformationssystem Außenanlagen) and POL information systems, acting as the federal control center for the LgBestMod property inventory model, and managing technical guidelines for surveying. This position requires strong leadership, project management skills, and expertise in GIS and geodata infrastructures, offering a challenging role in a federal context with opportunities for professional development and flexible work arrangements.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or university diploma in Geodesy, Geoinformatics, Civil Engineering, or a comparable qualification. Second state examination is desirable.

Experience

  • Leadership experience and proven leadership competence with a cooperative leadership style
  • In-depth knowledge and relevant experience in the technical steering of IT projects in geoinformation systems (preferably ESRI technology) and geodata infrastructures
  • Basic knowledge and experience in project management
