Job Summary

As an IT System Administrator at the State Office for Environment in Mainz, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and evolving the IT infrastructure. Your daily responsibilities will involve contributing to the conception and implementation of IT systems, managing client environments, and providing first and second-level user support. You will also be responsible for server environment management (physical and virtual), user and rights administration, software distribution, and patch management. Furthermore, you will oversee network and communication technology, plan and implement IT security measures, and create essential operational and IT security documentation.
