Job Summary

Join the Youth Welfare Office of the State Capital Stuttgart as an IT Administrator, supporting approximately 1,850 PCs/notebooks and 2,000 users. This part-time (50%) position is initially limited until March 31, 2027, with potential for permanent employment. You will be a key part of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) team, providing user service and support for hardware and software issues via hotline and on-site visits. Your responsibilities will also include application consulting, user administration, and workstation administration, including installation and configuration. The role requires strong IT knowledge, particularly with MS Windows, Citrix, Active Directory, SAP, and MS Office, along with excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively support users.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Information and Communication Technology, Public Management, or equivalent university degree, OR completed IT-related vocational training (e.g., IT Specialist), OR equivalent skills and experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT administration and support
  • Practical experience with MS Windows, Citrix, Active Directory, Ivanti DSM, SAP, Lotus Notes, MSOffice, and Firefox
