Job Summary

As a System Control, Circuit Planning, and Grid Calculation Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the reliable operation of Hamburg's energy distribution network. Your day-to-day will involve creating annual, monthly, and weekly plans for the distribution network, coordinating workflows with internal departments and external partners, and developing emergency programs to secure supply. You will play a critical role in fault management, analyzing hazard reports, initiating restoration measures for high and medium-voltage grid disruptions, and participating in significant projects like new substation construction. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic improvement of grid operations, work with advanced network control systems, and collaborate closely with various departments to enhance network operating strategies.
