High Voltage Cable Technician | Techniker Hochspannungskabel (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves managing the construction and installation of high-voltage cable networks, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to technical standards and safety regulations. The technician will plan and manage small-scale high-voltage cable projects from conception through implementation, and actively contribute expertise to projects within the line and substation areas. A critical component of the job is acting as the on-site decision-maker during outages to quickly restore network operations. Responsibilities also include monitoring timely and contract-compliant execution of services, conducting intermediate and final acceptance tests for quality assurance, and maintaining plant responsibility via a regulated award procedure. The ideal candidate holds a Master Craftsman or Technician qualification in Electrical Engineering, possesses experience in cable systems, and is proficient in MS Office applications. Participation in an on-call duty roster is required, along with the ability to maintain performance under pressure and strong organizational skills.
