Deputy Department Head | Stellvertretende Abteilungsleitung (m/w/d)

Job Summary

As Deputy Department Head for special education support and social integration, you will collaborate with the Department Head on developing and documenting support concepts (e.g., BEI-NRW's). A key part of your role involves direct group work, providing care, guidance, and support to individuals with complex disabilities, assisting them with daily living activities. You will also foster close cooperation with legal guardians, associations, schools, funding bodies, and authorities. Additionally, you will contribute to the organization and execution of special projects, group activities, and events, and assume leadership of the department in the absence of the Department Head. This role is ideal for someone with a pedagogical or nursing background, strong rehabilitation knowledge, and a sensitive, empathetic approach to supporting people with disabilities.
