IT Engineer Software Development SAP | Fachinformatiker (m/w/d)

Job Summary
This role involves developing and maintaining SAP software and interface solutions for the City of Stuttgart's financial IT systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements, creating specifications, designing program architectures and data models, and programming new software within the SAP ERP 6.0 environment. A key aspect of the role is ensuring software quality through planning and executing tests, bug fixing, and creating comprehensive documentation. This position is ideal for an experienced SAP ABAP developer looking to contribute to essential public sector applications and support key users in a dynamic team.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a comparable field, OR completed technical vocational training (e.g., IT specialist) with at least three years of relevant professional experience.
Experience
- 3+ years in SAP development, especially ABAP
- 3+ years in SAP module extension and customization
- Professional experience in data modeling and relational databases
- Professional experience in software testing and quality assurance
Languages

- This is a part-time position (50%).
