As a Junior Project Engineer, you will be instrumental in managing railway infrastructure projects from initial planning through to completion. Your daily tasks will involve ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations, managing project timelines, controlling costs, and maintaining quality standards. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders including internal departments, contractors, authorities, and third parties, coordinating activities and securing necessary approvals. This role requires a highly organized, autonomous, and goal-oriented individual with strong communication and analytical skills, capable of proactive problem-solving and taking responsibility for successful project delivery. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Engineering or a comparable field

Experience

  • Professional experience in planning and realizing infrastructure projects (ideally)
  • Knowledge of Control and Safety Technology (LST)
  • Knowledge of construction phases according to HOAI (German Fee Schedule for Architects and Engineers)
  • Knowledge of VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures)
