Job Summary

This role involves operating and maintaining digital switching systems, focusing on voice switching and signaling. The successful candidate will analyze and resolve disruptions, configure and parameterize switching centers, and perform software upgrades and patches in various environments. A key part of the job is collaborating on projects to introduce new services and platforms in Tetra and digital radio networks, working closely with customers, project teams, and other technical departments. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in IT and telecommunications, particularly digital switching technology, who thrives in a dynamic, project-oriented environment and enjoys contributing to critical communication solutions for clients like Airbus Secure Land Communications.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification; alternatively, completed vocational training as an IT system electronics technician with many years of experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience with IT / information systems
  • Practical experience with DXT systems (Nokia) is ideal
  • Professional experience in digital switching technology

  • Class B/3 driver's license; Willingness to travel occasionally.
