Job Summary

This role is for an Electrical Engineering Technician at the German Armed Forces' Geoinformation Center in Euskirchen. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and performing basic maintenance on geoinformation technical equipment, conducting fault analysis, and performing final inspections. A key part of the role involves creating and updating work instructions for this specialized equipment. Additionally, the technician will be responsible for ensuring the electrical safety of operating equipment in accordance with DGUV V3 regulations. The position requires a willingness to undertake regular domestic business trips and participate in ongoing training and professional development. State-certified technician in Electrical Engineering

Experience

  • Professional experience in data processing technology (desirable)
  • Professional experience in satellite reception technology (desirable)
  • Professional experience in network technology hardware, especially laying, installing, and measuring fiber optic and copper cabling (desirable)
  • Professional experience in DGUV V3 testing (desirable)
