Job Summary

This role is a crucial opportunity for an experienced Software Developer to contribute to the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) by working within the Center for Digitization and Cyber/Information Space Capability Development in Euskirchen. The developer will be responsible for implementing project-specific software development measures, including creating and modifying applications at the source code level, debugging, refactoring, and performance optimization. Key daily tasks involve conducting bug analysis, elimination, and contributing to the evaluation of problem reports and change requests for both proprietary and third-party applications. The ideal candidate holds a degree in a relevant IT field and brings at least three years of professional experience in modern frontend software development (e.g., React). Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor or Diploma FH) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, or comparable IT-related fields.

Experience

  • Professional experience in modern software development in the frontend area
  • At least three years of professional activity in modern frontend software development
  • Experience in native app development with JetPack Compose and Kotlin (Desired)
  • Experience in agile development of mobile apps (Desired)
  • Experience in UI/UX (Desired)
  • Experience with SCRUM methodologies (Desired)
