Job Summary

As an Associate Mechanical Design Engineer in the Seating Department, you will be instrumental in the full product lifecycle of vehicle seating components, from initial concept to end-of-life. This involves hands-on design engineering, problem-solving for existing products, and managing diverse engineering disciplines including materials, manufacturing, and mechanical design. You will create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings, interpret CAE simulation results, and collaborate extensively with internal teams and external suppliers. This role requires balancing critical product attributes such as safety, functionality, cost, and sustainability, while applying first-principles thinking to overcome technical challenges within tight timelines.
