Job Summary

The Helmholtz Institute for RNA-based Infection Research (HIRI) is seeking two highly motivated Junior Group Leaders to conduct cutting-edge research in RNA Biology, RNA Technologies, or RNA Medicine. In this role, you will lead a research group focusing on areas such as microbial RNA, phage and eukaryotic viral RNA, host immune responses, single-cell RNA-seq, CRISPR-Cas, RNA visualization, RNA modifications, or RNA as a therapeutic target/effector. A key part of your responsibilities will be fostering scientific talent, securing external funding, and contributing to academic self-governance.
