Job Summary

This role involves significant contributions to experimental particle physics research, specifically within the LHCb experiment at CERN. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing real-time filtering algorithms, leveraging heterogeneous computing architectures, and establishing and maintaining the group's computing infrastructure. Beyond research, the position requires active participation in teaching, leading the institute's IT department, and strategic planning for computing infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in experimental particle physics, extensive experience in real-time data processing, LHC Grid computing, and modern computing architectures, coupled with leadership and research management skills.
