Job Summary
This role offers an exciting opportunity for an IT Technician to join a leading international IT service provider. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructures, primarily focusing on data center patching (fiber optic and copper cabling) and providing essential onsite support. Key responsibilities include managing network and power connections in server rooms, handling IMAC/R orders and service requests, and offering VIP support for events. The position also involves managing inventory, organizing RMA/Trade-In processes, and conducting on-site troubleshooting at various client locations across Germany. This is a chance to work with a professional team, utilize modern technical equipment, and contribute to a future-oriented IT landscape.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in IT or electrical field, or comparable professional experience
Experience
- Professional experience in IT or electrical field
- Knowledge of network technology (copper and fiber optic cables, patching, basic power supply)
- Initial experience in a data center environment or IT onsite support is a plus
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to travel within Germany (Neckarsulm and up to 10 external locations)
