Job Summary

As a Field Service Technician, you will be the on-site expert responsible for maintaining and supporting the IT infrastructure of a successful retail chain in the greater Straubing area. Your daily tasks will involve servicing Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, installing and maintaining client and server systems, configuring desktop PCs and mobile devices, administering network components, and troubleshooting printer systems. You will also handle technical customer inquiries and coordinate technical preparations for new store openings. This role is ideal for someone with a background in IT, strong technical problem-solving skills, and a willingness to be on-call and work occasionally on weekends. The position offers an intensive onboarding process, development opportunities, and a permanent contract with the option for direct employment.
