Job Summary
This role involves the crucial task of synthesizing and purifying peptides for immunological therapies, contributing to cancer research. The successful candidate will operate automated peptide synthesizers, perform preparative HPLC for purification, and analyze peptides using LC-MS and other quality control methods. Key responsibilities include meticulous documentation, data evaluation, and the optimization of existing processes, with future opportunities for GMP-compliant work. The position requires a background as a Technical Assistant or Chemical Laboratory Assistant, practical experience in organic synthesis chemistry, and strong analytical and organizational skills, supported by excellent German and English language proficiency. Education
Successfully completed training as a Technical Assistant (CTA, BTA, MTA) or Chemical Laboratory Assistant
Experience
- Professional experience in peptide synthesis and quality control is beneficial
- Practical knowledge in organic synthesis chemistry is an advantage
- Experience working with computer-controlled, automated devices
