Job Summary

The German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), a leading European institution focused on cancer research, is seeking a Data Protection Auditor to join its dedicated Data Protection Team. This crucial role involves independently executing data protection audits and performing complex analyses of data protection matters. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing technical and organizational concepts, ensuring the implementation of data protection requirements in alignment with the BSI IT-Grundschutz and the Standard Data Protection Model (SDM), and providing expert consultation and examination services. Furthermore, the auditor will be responsible for risk assessment concerning data breaches and recommending necessary mitigation measures. Candidates should ideally possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics or Business Administration, strong general IT skills covering Windows, Linux, and networking environments, and excellent analytical abilities.
