Job Summary

This role involves coordinating and developing interdisciplinary junior research funding and continuing education programs at the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT/UCC) Dresden, a major European cancer research hub. The coordinator will be responsible for creating, advancing, and overseeing training curricula, managing the local Education and Training Committee, and ensuring effective documentation and follow-up of results. Key tasks include fostering interdisciplinary exchange among junior scientists, organizing seminars and retreats, and providing guidance to PhD students in collaboration with the DKFZ International PhD Program. The ideal candidate holds a university degree, preferably a PhD in life sciences or a related field, possesses excellent organizational and communication skills, and is proficient in both German and English, offering a strategic and challenging position within an inspiring, state-of-the-art research environment.
