This role involves the comprehensive management, analysis, and visualization of geodata within Potsdam's statistical and spatial reference systems. The specialist will be responsible for conceptualizing, maintaining, and documenting geodata inventories, including the AGK (municipal statistical spatial reference system) and ArcGIS. Key tasks include developing interfaces, automating data validation processes (potentially with Python), and ensuring data quality across systems. The position also requires performing complex spatial analyses using GIS tools, visualizing results in maps, and contributing to interdepartmental projects related to urban planning and regional collaboration.
