Job Summary

This role involves leading the Digitalization Working Group within the Social and Inclusion department of the City of Potsdam administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for personnel, financial, and organizational leadership, guiding and motivating five team members, and initiating process optimization through weakness analyses. Key technical tasks include developing and advancing a maturity model for digitalization within the department, comparing digital administrative development with other social authorities, and monitoring digitalization objectives. Furthermore, the Lead will support change management by preparing and conducting training, establishing effective process management, and building a project portfolio management system. This position requires a background in administration, economics, law, or social sciences, coupled with several years of professional experience in project portfolio management or change management, offering an attractive salary package (E 11) and excellent work-life balance within a secure public sector environment.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's/Diploma (FH) degree or comparable qualification in Administrative Sciences, Economics, Law, Social Sciences, Administrative and Business Informatics, or comparable field

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in process and project portfolio management or change management
  • Experience in leading organizational units
  • Deep understanding of technical process modeling and IT landscapes (Advantageous)
