Job Summary
This role involves leading and managing the SAP Application Management team, comprising 17 employees, in a tandem leadership model. You will be responsible for implementing strategic guidelines, reporting to senior management, and ensuring the team's operational efficiency. Day-to-day tasks include providing application support, troubleshooting, gathering requirements, and managing service providers. A key aspect of this position is analyzing existing processes to identify and implement optimization potentials, while also ensuring adherence to quality standards and legal regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader with a strong background in SAP application management to contribute to making Berlin cleaner and greener as part of Germany's largest municipal waste management company.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (Master's/Diploma) in (Business) Informatics, Economics with a technical specialization in Informatics, or a comparable field; alternatively, a Bachelor's/FH-Diploma in the same fields combined with several years of proven professional experience in an equivalent role.
Experience
- Many years of leadership experience
- Several years of Digital Leadership in an IT context
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in SAP application support or consulting for at least two SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO, MM, SD, IS-U, S/4HANA W&R)
- Experience in project leadership, collaboration, and support in SAP projects and projects with SAP components
