Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Technical Documentation Technician who will play a crucial part in ensuring the comprehensive and confidential documentation of a waste-to-energy plant in Ruhleben, Berlin. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing, maintaining, archiving, and digitizing plant documentation, ensuring structured storage, and implementing review obligations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing and maintaining the operational management software SIPAM, including master data management and quality control, and will actively shape and evolve documentation standards. This position is ideal for someone with a background in IT, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or process control, who possesses strong documentation and CAD skills, and is looking to contribute to a greener Berlin with a stable, crisis-proof employer offering excellent benefits and flexible working options.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor / FH-Diplom) in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Process, Measurement and Control Technology

Experience

  • Professional experience with concepts, methods, and instruments of documentation
  • Professional experience with legally compliant documentation
