Job Summary

This role is for a driven Key Account Manager to shape the future of healthcare sales, focusing on both Nephrology and Ophthalmology. You will be instrumental in building and developing client relationships, particularly in the new Ophthalmology business sector, by identifying key customers, building expertise, and developing strategic client plans. Responsibilities also include the successful launch of products in assigned territories, managing sales of existing Nephrology products, and achieving ambitious sales targets through effective competitor differentiation and omnichannel strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and negotiation skills, a self-assured demeanor, and a highly results-oriented approach, contributing significantly to the company's growth in the healthcare market.

Required Skills

Education

Pharmaceutical Consultant/Representative (Pharmaberater/Pharmareferent) status according to §75 AMG (e.g., natural science degree, PTA, MTA, CTA, BTA, etc.)

Experience

  • Several years of successful experience in pharmaceutical field sales
  • Professional experience as a Pharmaceutical Consultant/Representative according to §75 AMG (German Pharmaceuticals Act)
  • Existing contacts with customer base, especially key accounts in the sales territory (desirable)
  • Strong experience and/or fundamental knowledge in the indication area (Nephrology/Ophthalmology)
  • Experience in outpatient and/or inpatient settings of the indication area (desirable)
  • Experience in the VEGF market in Ophthalmology (ideally)
  • Experience collaborating with Medical Liaison Managers and potentially Healthcare Managers
