Job Summary

This role involves shaping the future of healthcare sales by building and developing customer relationships within the new ophthalmology business segment, focusing on customer identification, knowledge building, and developing customer plans. The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful launch in the assigned territory based on marketing and sales strategies, and for selling existing products in the nephrology sector, differentiating them from competitors. Day-to-day activities include achieving sales targets, regular customer visits in various settings, leveraging omnichannel strategies for broad sales reach, and networking with key opinion leaders. Required Skills

Education

Pharmaceutical Consultant/Representative status according to §75 AMG (natural science degree/PTA, MTA, CTA, BTA etc.)

Experience

  • Several years of successful experience in pharmaceutical field sales
  • Desirable existing contacts with customer base, especially key accounts in the sales territory
  • Good/basic experience and/or fundamental knowledge in the indication area (Nephrology/Ophthalmology)
  • Ideally, good experience in outpatient and/or inpatient settings within the indication area
  • Ideally, experience in the VEGF market in ophthalmology
  • Experience collaborating with Medical Liaison Managers and potentially Healthcare Managers
