Biotechnological Assistant (BTA) in Production (USP) | BTA (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role is for a Biotechnological Assistant (BTA) to join a dynamic production team in Heidelberg, focusing on Upstream Processing (USP). The successful candidate will be instrumental in preparing and executing fermentations within a Class D cleanroom, performing cell harvesting, cell disruption, and various filtration techniques. Aseptic work under laminar flow hoods and conducting in-process controls, such as pH, conductivity, and endotoxin measurements, are core responsibilities. This position also involves supporting equipment qualification and calibration, and ensuring GMP-compliant documentation. Ideal candidates will have a background as a BTA, CTA, pharmaceutical/chemical technician, or biology/chemistry lab technician, possess technical skills in microbial fermentation, and be prepared for shift work in a continuous three-shift system.
