Job Summary

The Site IT Lead at our Heidelberg site serves as the primary IT expert and contact for the plant's business leadership, focusing on Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) & Biotechnological Manufacturing. This role involves understanding business requirements, managing IT projects, supporting critical manufacturing and quality control systems, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations like GMP. You will be instrumental in maintaining IT infrastructure lifecycle, leading local and global IT projects (e.g., LIMS, ERP), and ensuring the validation and qualification of IT systems. The position requires close collaboration with manufacturing, operations technology, and quality teams to uphold a compliant GxP environment, participate in audits, and contribute strategically to the global IT leadership team.
