Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Software Architect specializing in C++ to join HENSOLDT's development team in Wetzlar or Oberkochen. You will be instrumental in conceptualizing, developing, and maintaining a cross-sectional software platform for high-quality, handheld optronic vision systems used in defense and security applications. The position involves analyzing requirements, specifying software architecture, and strategically evolving the platform and its development processes. You will develop using C++, and potentially Rust and TypeScript, across Linux, QNX, and FreeRTOS environments, while also supporting other development teams and managing external partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real-time signal and data acquisition software, agile methodologies, and modern C++ standards, contributing to cutting-edge solutions for a safer world.
