This critical role involves serving as the Corporate Chief Architect within the CTO area, driving the Engineering Governance and Standardization strategy across HENSOLDT. The primary focus is on establishing and expanding corporate standards and modularity to prevent redundant developments, increase efficiency, and accelerate development speed. The architect will be instrumental in laying the groundwork for Software Defined Defense and Multi-Domain Operations solutions, enhancing product quality, security, flexibility, and interoperability. Day-to-day tasks include translating strategic business goals into architectural principles, defining long-term standardization roadmaps, evaluating proposals for new standards, and monitoring compliance through reviews and audits. The position requires promoting technical exchange, identifying best practices, and fostering an innovation culture while providing guidance to Divisional Chief Architects and reporting effectiveness to the CTO. A strong background in complex systems development and technical leadership is essential for success in this influential position.

Experience

  • Multi-year experience in developing complex products and system solutions
  • Experience in the military environment or with a Systems Engineering background (ideal)
