This role involves driving digital transformation within the school system in Meißen, Germany. The Digitalization Officer will be responsible for the organizational and, at times, lead management of digitalization projects, including developing and updating the municipal media concept for school digitalization and coordinating its implementation. Key responsibilities include planning and coordinating digitalization measures, assessing and implementing annual IT equipment for mobile learning, and developing concepts to optimize school IT workflows. Education

• Civil Service Qualification for Career Group 2, First Entry Level (formerly senior service) in General Administration, OR • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, OR • Completion of Angestelltenlehrgang II (Administrative Specialist, Municipal Specialist) or Administrative Business Economist (VWA), OR • Bachelor's/Diploma degree (BA/FH) from a BA, technical, or university of applied sciences in Administrative Informatics, OR • State-certified Business Economist (FH)

Experience

  • Professional experience in project leadership or coordination
  • Experience in planning and coordinating digitalization measures
  • Experience with procurement processes and tender preparation
  • Basic knowledge in the use of digital media and pedagogical application (advantageous)

Languages

German (Fluent)

Additional

  • Valid car driver's license (Pkw-Führerschein)
  • Willingness to ensure service operation during opening hours
  • Proof of German language proficiency at minimum C1 level (required)
