Job Summary

This role is pivotal in driving the digitalization of public administration within the Meißen district. The eGovernment Specialist will be responsible for the full lifecycle implementation of the VIS document management system, from process analysis and optimization using BPMN to user training and ongoing support. Key responsibilities also include leading and coordinating various eGovernment projects, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems, and collaborating with external service providers. The ideal candidate will possess strong IT and project management skills, a solid understanding of eGovernment principles, and excellent communication abilities. Required Skills

Education

Civil service qualification for career group 2, first entry level (formerly higher service) in General Administration, or Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, or completion of Angestelltenlehrgang II (Administrative Specialist/Municipal Specialist), or degree in Administrative Business Administration (VWA), Business Administration (VWA/BA), or Bachelor in Administrative Informatics or Business Informatics, or comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in eGovernment and business process management
  • Desirable experience in IT project management
