Job Summary
As a System Engineer for Smart M2M Communication, you will play a crucial role in advancing the energy transition by contributing to the automation and expansion of smart grids. Your daily tasks will involve remote troubleshooting of Smart Grid and Smart Meter devices, providing telephone support to field services for commissioning and fault resolution of iONS (LTE/DSL Router) and Broadband Powerline devices, and planning Broadband Powerline devices using geographical information systems. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining documentation, monitoring alarm lists, and conducting system tests. This position offers the opportunity to shape the telecommunication networks of the future within a supportive team environment, focusing on innovation and digital transformation in the energy sector.
Required Skills
Education
Master/Technician in Telecommunications/Computer Science or comparable qualification
Experience
- Experience in configuring router switches at the CLI level
- Experience in operating transport network and IP components
- Professional experience with database systems
- Professional experience with documentation and ticket systems
Languages
Additional
- Consent to a security check according to the Security Clearance Act (SÜG in conjunction with SÜFV) is required due to operating critical infrastructure.
