Job Summary

This role involves comprehensive planning, administration, and troubleshooting of the city's extensive Cisco LAN/WAN infrastructure, encompassing Access, Core, and Datacenter components across approximately 220 locations. The specialist will also manage network transitions (Firewall, NAT, Proxy), Wireless LAN infrastructure, and be responsible for the selection, procurement, implementation, and operation of new network components. Key responsibilities include cross-departmental project collaboration, monitoring hardware and software performance, providing second and third-level support, and managing all internal and external network connections.
