Job Summary
This role involves supporting the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports in Stuttgart with the implementation and continuous improvement of their Information Security Management System (ISMS), specifically focusing on IT. The successful candidate will advise various application areas and leadership on ISMS implementation, collaborate with operational Information Security Officers, data protection officers, and the central IT service provider. A key part of the job is independently managing complex security-related projects. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Diplom or Bachelor) in (Business) Informatics, ideally with a focus on IT security, or equivalent practical experience. Alternatively, qualification for the higher technical or non-technical administrative service.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT and willingness to train in IT security (for administrative service candidates)
- Knowledge and experience with ISO 2700x standards and BSI IT-Grundschutz
- Knowledge of current topics in information and IT security
- Knowledge of legal requirements for information and IT security of critical infrastructures (KRITIS)
Languages
Additional
- Civil servant status (Beamtenverhältnis) or employment under TV-L (Tarifvertrag für den öffentlichen Dienst der Länder) for non-civil servants. Willingness for continuous professional development in IT security. Ability to communicate effectively with administrative bodies.
