Job Summary

This role is for a Senior Administrative Officer specializing in IT Security, joining the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports in Stuttgart. The core mission is to support the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in establishing and continuously improving the Information Security Management System (ISMS), with a strong focus on IT systems, processes, and guidelines. Day-to-day tasks involve consulting application areas, managers, and staff on security implementation, and actively collaborating with operational Information Security Officers (ISB), data protection officers, the central IT service provider (BITBW), and the Cyber Security Agency (CSBW). A critical part of the job is the independent execution of complex, security-related projects. Candidates should possess a university degree in IT or Business Informatics, ideally with an IT security focus, or hold the qualification for the Senior Administrative Service combined with relevant IT experience and a strong commitment to continuous professional development in IT security.
