Required Skills

Education

State-certified Technician in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications/experience. Recognized 3-year related vocational training (e.g., Civil Engineering Worker, Road Builder) with extensive practical experience in the described tasks.

Experience

  • 2 years of professional experience in road maintenance and renovation measures
  • Professional experience in preparing, monitoring, and settling construction projects
  • Professional experience in monitoring utility provider work
  • Professional experience in structural condition monitoring of roads
  • Professional experience in traffic safety obligations (hazard identification and elimination)
  • Professional experience in managing unauthorized special uses and interventions on roads

Additional

  • Ability to work outside regular service hours, including nights and weekends. Must be able to conduct foot patrols of up to 12.5 km per day (2.5 km per hour). Application documents must be submitted in German. For qualifications obtained outside Germany, proof of equivalence from the 'Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB)' is required. Must provide proof of residence and work permit in Germany if applicable.
