Job Summary

The Air Pollution Control Systems Engineer will serve as the subject matter expert and system owner for Air Abatement Systems (AAS) and various Mechanical, Cleanroom, and HVAC Systems, including Airborne Molecular Contamination and centralized/local air pollution control systems, at a new semiconductor fab in Dresden. This role is crucial for ensuring system safety, operational excellence, reliability, efficiency, and compliance, while driving continuous improvement and innovation. The engineer will collaborate with internal teams and external providers to optimize operations, develop technical documentation, and support new installations and upgrades. They will also be involved in data analysis for equipment efficiency, project support for system design and commissioning, and providing technical training and mentorship. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of a cutting-edge semiconductor facility.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Technical Facility Services, Environmental Engineering, or a related field

Experience

  • 10+ years of relevant post-education experience with Mechanical Systems, specifically Air Abatement Systems, in design, construction, commissioning, and operations
  • Strong knowledge in operation and regulatory compliance of industrial processing plants or semiconductor facilities (preferred)
  • Experience with facilities engineering of industrial processing plants
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience in troubleshooting
