Job Summary

This role at the University of Rostock is ideal for a dedicated researcher looking to pursue a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry. The successful candidate will primarily focus on inorganic synthesis chemistry, specifically synthesizing and optimizing compounds based on P-centered biradicals and disbiradicals for small molecule activation. Day-to-day tasks involve extensive characterization using various analytical methods like NMR, IR, RAMAN, MS, and X-ray, as well as conducting quantum chemical calculations. Beyond research, the position includes teaching responsibilities (approx. 2 SWS) in general and inorganic chemistry, mentoring students, and contributing to scientific publications and discourse.
