Job Summary
This PhD student position at Helmut Schmidt University, within the Faculty of Electrical Engineering's Medical Engineering professorship, focuses on cutting-edge research in multi-frequency Synthetic Aperture Sonar (SAS). The successful candidate will contribute to a third-party funded project, investigating frequency-dependent propagation and imaging effects in SAS for seafloor classification and object discrimination. Day-to-day tasks involve signal processing for SAS, conducting academic activities, and general administrative work.
