Job Summary
This role involves joining the ITZBund, a central IT service provider for the German federal administration, to manage and support IT infrastructure for over 100,000 workstations. Day-to-day tasks include administering user environments, providing 2nd-level support for IT issues via various channels, and installing/configuring hardware and software. The position also requires contributing to technical concept development and participating in IT projects. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a relevant IT degree or equivalent experience to work on impactful projects within a supportive team environment, offering a chance to contribute to the digitalization of federal services in Germany.
Required Skills
Education
University of Applied Sciences or Bachelor's degree with relevant IT focus, or equivalent abilities and experience of at least 3 years
Experience
- Professional experience in administration of database-based IT systems
- Professional experience in client management tools
- Practical experience in project business
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to be on-call (compensated, pre-plannable, currently rare), Possession of a Class B (old: Class 3) driver's license and willingness to drive official vehicles for customer matters, Agreement to an extended security check according to the Security Clearance Act.
