Job Summary

This role involves conceptualizing, building, and continuously enhancing Geoinformation Systems (GIS) for various applications, including server, desktop, web, and mobile platforms. The specialist will play a key role in developing the geodata infrastructure and managing the entire geodata lifecycle, from collection and quality assurance to processing and distribution, crucial for Germany's traffic infrastructure. Responsibilities also include leading GIS projects using agile methodologies like DevOps, developing automated geodata processing and visualization solutions with service-oriented architectures, and acting as a competence center for strategic questions related to road information banks (SIB) and GIS. This position offers a chance to contribute to a critical national infrastructure project within a large, stable federal company.
