This role is for a dedicated Civil Engineer specializing in road and railway construction, working as a funding officer for the Lower Saxony Public Transport Company (LNVG). The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping public transport across Lower Saxony by advising applicants on funding procedures, meticulously reviewing grant applications, and processing statements of use. A key focus will be the technical and economic evaluation of construction projects within road and rail-bound public transport, ensuring planning functionality, accurate quantity and cost estimates, and adherence to budgetary principles of efficiency and economy. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on road, traffic, or infrastructure, or a degree in Railway Engineering or Industrial Engineering with a focus on construction, or a comparable qualification.
