Job Summary
The Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research is seeking a skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join the "Innovative Organoid Research" department. This role is crucial for establishing a new behavioral unit focused on studying infectious and genetic diseases under BSL1/2 and BSL3 conditions. The successful candidate will actively set up behavioral studies, develop animal proposals, conduct scientific analyses, and publish collected data. This position offers a unique opportunity to bridge organoid-based research with in vivo studies, contributing to novel approaches in preventing, diagnosing, and treating infectious diseases within an international, multidisciplinary team at a leading research institute.
Required Skills
Education
Completed scientific university or Master's degree (Biology, Microbiology, Chemical Biology or comparable) with PhD
Experience
- Professional experience in developing study designs and protocols for animal experiments
- Professional experience in project management
- Professional experience with analysis of large data sets
- Professional experience with the application process for animal testing applications
- Professional experience in supervising students
