Job Summary

This role is for a skilled PHP Engineer to develop scalable and robust backend solutions for Kaufland's international online marketplaces. You will be responsible for end-to-end feature development, from design and coding to testing, deployment, and monitoring in production environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building PHP backends for mid to large-scale software projects, a solid understanding of APIs, databases, messaging brokers, and familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely within Germany or from offices in Cologne, Darmstadt, Düsseldorf, or Berlin, fostering a dynamic corporate culture that blends a start-up mentality with the resources of a large corporation.
