Initially, the manager will spend time on hands-on technical tasks as an individual contributor to gain deep insight into the infrastructure and code base, ensuring a thorough understanding of technical challenges. Key responsibilities include leading 1-3 cross-functional product teams in a 'you-build-it-you-run-it' environment, balancing technical contribution with managerial duties, mentoring engineers for personal and professional growth, and ensuring product delivery meets time, budget, and quality standards.
