Job Summary

This role is for an Electrical Engineer specializing in protection technology for High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) and Static Synchronous Compensator (STATCOM) systems. The successful candidate will be instrumental in integrating renewable energies by developing technical solutions for protection systems in HVDC and FACTS (Flexible AC Transmission Systems) plants. Day-to-day, this involves deep dives into plant technical fundamentals, continuous knowledge development, and acting as the primary point of contact for colleagues regarding secondary technology in HVDC/FACTS. The role also includes contributing to supplier contract negotiations, overseeing acceptance tests, and ensuring compliance with technical standards.
