Job Summary

This role involves applying technical expertise in plant technology for the planning and realization of new construction and modification projects concerning substations, HVDC (High-Voltage Direct Current), and compensation systems. As a specialist project lead, you will represent plant technology topics, focusing on auxiliary, ancillary, and self-consumption systems within the regional extra-high voltage grid. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing project documentation, conducting technical-economic comparisons, managing service providers, ensuring adherence to technical and safety standards on construction sites, and performing acceptance tests. You will be responsible for defining technical principles for the selection and procurement of equipment like transformers and MV/LV systems. This position requires strong organizational skills, goal-orientation, and a focus on optimizing existing solutions while developing new technologies, making it an attractive opportunity for engineers seeking end-to-end project responsibility from planning through commissioning.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Industrial Engineering with a focus on Electrical Engineering, or equivalent; alternatively, completed vocational training and professional experience as an Electrical Installer or Master Electrician with relevant specialization.
