Job Summary

This role is for an SCG Engineer to join a team in Erlangen, focusing on technical implementation within HVDC control technology, specifically for SCADA Communication Gateway components. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for integrating sub-systems and control centers via communication technology, creating and maintaining technical documentation, and clarifying requirements with stakeholders. A key part of the role involves configuring central data gateways and protocol converters, performing system integration, and conducting signal and acceptance tests. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical or automation engineering, professional experience in control technology for power transmission systems, and a strong understanding of SCADA systems and communication architectures.
