Job Summary

This role is for an SCG Engineer to join a forward-thinking team in Erlangen, focusing on the technical implementation within HVDC control technology, specifically for SCADA Communication Gateway components. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating sub-systems and control centers communication-wise, configuring central data gateways (IPCOMM ipConv) and other protocol converters, and supporting the creation of specifications and signal databases. Key responsibilities also include system integration, commissioning in test setups, and providing technical support during the entire commissioning phase. This position offers a challenging environment for professionals with a strong background in electrical engineering or automation technology, particularly with experience in control technology for power transmission systems and SCADA systems.
