Job Summary
This role involves the crucial task of designing, implementing, and maintaining robust IT security measures following the BSI IT-Grundschutz methodology. The successful candidate will be instrumental in enhancing and optimizing the IT security posture of the university, actively participating in system administration, and addressing inquiries from the Information Security Officer. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Electrical/Information Engineering, or similar with a focus on IT Security, OR Bachelor's degree in these fields with several years of professional experience in the mentioned areas.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT security and network administration (if Bachelor's degree)
- Experience with security mechanisms at network, operating system, and application levels
- Experience with IP-based network protocols, services, and topologies
- Experience administering enterprise-level active network components
Languages
Additional
- Location at Hagen or Soest campus. Willingness to travel to all university locations. Driver's license Class B is advantageous. Permanent full-time position (part-time possible). Flexible working hours and location.
